Mechanical Design Engineer - Owen Daniels : Job Details

Are you a Mechanical Design Engineer? Have you worked on automated machines? Do you have any knowledge of working on Nuclear decommissioning projects? Then this role would be great for you. I am working with a client who are looking for multiple Junior through to Senior level Mechanical Design Engineers. Mechanical Design Engineer Permanent £30,000 - £50,000 (dependant on experience) SwindonMechanical Design Engineer The Mechanical Design Engineer will have the following responsibilities: Job Description

• Produce practical concept designs for highly regulated industries
• Design of Mechanical mechanisms and assemblies
• Stress and other calculations to support designs
• Applying GD&T knowledge along with BS8888
• Designing to different manufacturing techniques such as 3D printing and welding
• New product development – designing mechanisms from scratch

Mechanical Design Engineer will require the following experience: Essential Skills/Experience

• Experience using Inventor or a similar CAD system
• Worked on the design of bespoke machines
• Ideal to see experience designing moving equipment for high hazardous environments
• Produce conceptual designs
• Understanding and design experience of different Mechanical Mechanisms
