Mechanical Design Manager SC Cleared - Venn Group : Job Details

Venn Group Mechanical Design Manager SC Cleared (Active or Eligible)1 Year Contract Remote (1-2 days a month on-site in Plymouth £77-£87 per hour (Inside IR35, Umbrella)  

Our market-leading client require a Mechanical Process Design Manager to join them on a long-term contract.

Skills Required:

• Minimum of 8 years’ experience of designing a mechanical services or process systems
• Hands-on experience being responsible for the programme and design output of a work package
• Experience of working in a high-risk industry (ideally nuclear)
• Understanding of hazard identification and analysis associated with process system terms e.g. HAZID, HAZPOP
• Extensive experience of having a direct report of 5+ staff

Qualifications/Certifications Needed:

• BEng/BSc in mechanical engineering or similar degree
• Chartered Engineer

Desirable:

• Masters education would be desirable but not essential
• Understanding of IEC 61511
