- Ensures compliance with business operating system.
- Developing & maintaining the Health & Safety standards on site.
- Providing the business with an extensive engineering technical knowledge.
- Ensures site infrastructure is maintained.
- Perform all necessary plans Start up Procedures and Shutdown Procedures.
- Perform all necessary daily, monthly, annual, or biannual checks.
- Participate in Business Improvement events, the businesses continuous improvement tool.
- Completion of the Preventative Maintenance plan.
- Develops site services to improve machine downtime.
- Operate Engineering Department machinery.
- Liaise with BI Team ensuring Document changes to Standard Operating Procedures.
- Report any Health & Safety hazards or discrepancies to the Engineering Supervisor.
Qualifications/ Experience/Skills
- Time-served apprentice / HNC Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 3 years working within a manufacturing environment
- Self-motivated, flexible, and able to work on own initiative and under pressure.
