Mechanical Engineering Lecturer

Morgan Hunt are delighted to be working with a College based in the Leicestershire area who are currently seeking a Mechanical Engineering Lecturer to join their team on a temporary basis for full time hours.

This role is to start as soon as possible and continue an ongoing basis.

For this role the College are ideally looking for someone who has the following experience / ability:

• Milling, Turning & Fitting (Both practically & in the classroom)
• Access to HE
• HNC & HND

The majority of this role would involve classroom-based delivery however there will still be some lessons that are practically done in the workshop.

Requirements

• Must hold a min of a Level 5ubject qualification in Mechanical Engineering.
• Must have previous experience teaching Mechanical Engineering.
• A teaching qualification is desirable and not essential.
• A strong understanding of the Engineering industry, including current trends, legislation, and best practice
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students from a range of backgrounds
• A commitment to delivering high-quality teaching and learning, and to supporting students to achieve their full potential
• A DBS on the update service is very desirable
• Right to work in the UK is essential
