Mechanical Fitter - Bennett & Game Recruitment : Job Details

Mechanical Fitter required for our client, a leading contractor with a workshop based in Burnley, that specialises in the design, installation, and maintenance of industrial-size pumps and related mechanical equipment within the water treatment industry.

Mechanical Fitter Position Remuneration

• Salary £35,100 - £39,800, negotiable depending on experience
• 45 hour working week (Monday - Friday)
• Company van
• Travel paid to/from sites
• 33 days holiday, including bank holidays
• No on call/standby requirements

Due to expansion, our client has an opening within their installation team for a mechanically-experienced individual to join the team, and the successful Mechanical Fitter will be completing installations and commissioning of large-scale industrial wastewater and clean water treatment equipment.

The work will be split between our client's workshop near the Burnley area, and on-site across the UK with all expenses for stay-aways paid. The successful Mechanical Fitter must be happy to travel across the UK and stay away from home regularly, and will be compensated suitably.

Mechanical Fitter Position Requirements

• Strong mechanical background, particularly within heavy-duty mechanical installations
• Experience within the water industry highly desirable
• Full UK driving licence
• CSCS & Water Hygiene card desirable, but will be provided upon start if not already owned
• Based within a commutable distance of Burnley
• Happy to stay away regularly
