A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Mechanical Fitter to join a UK known plastics manufacturer in the Bristol Area!

With no day ever being the same the Mechanical Fitter role offers genuine long-term progression and career development within a first-class organisation.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Assist in the workshop with the assembly, build and testing of a range of packaging machines.
• To build/assemble all mechanical components
• Reading engineers drawings
• Building sub-assemblies and installing on new machine frames, pneumatic installation, set-up and running of customer products
• Occasional travel to customers sites

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

• Full drivers licence.
• Previous experience with assembly / build / mechanical engineering work
• Plastics / Packaging / Robotics background
• Relevant mechanical engineering skills
• Apprenticeship or qualification
