Our client has been working with the NHS for a number of years and has strong relationships throughout the medical sector. A market leader in their sector, they are looking to add a new Senior Sales rep to their existing growing team to cover the North of England. Job Summary:
- To plan and carry out direct sales activities in the primary area of the NHS; procurement, clinical departments and ward environment
- To develop and increases sales of products manufactured & supplied by the company.
- To represent the company to establish and build long-term customer relationships in our clients region.
- To provide all necessary reports and documentation as requested by the company to ensure visibility of the regional potential.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
- Grow existing and new customers through pro-active planned individual account support.
- Developing the regional territory plan with National Sales Manager to achieve the regional potential and sales targets.
- Generating and developing new opportunities, follow up quotations, samples close new business ensuring the CRM accurately reflects status.
- Ensure widespread networking with key stake holders / decision makers to promote our band and products through pro-active, planned sales visits / appointments.
- To be accountable for the regions revenue and capital pipelines, accurately logging all information to ensure all potential is centrally logged. This will ensure the business can support and deliver maximum potential from the opportunities in the region.
- Support regional forecasting with the proactive use of the CRM opportunities and continual professional engagement with key stake holders and decision markets.
- Handling customer complaints efficiently and professionally, when required repair customer products- minor faults.
- Give full and precise feedback from the customers on all aspects of our clients business activities and/or products, including complaints, satisfaction, and product improvements.
- Report on all competitor’s activities, pricing and /or strategies when identified.
- Record all customer details and sales activities via the company business systems (Excel, Outlook, CRM system) in line with the businesses expectation requirements
- Conduct product demonstration and customer product training as and when required.
- Attendance at Office, Exhibitions & Sales Meetings when requested.
- Promote the brand name and any other products supplied by our client.
- Liaise with all internal departments when necessary or requested.
- Adhere to all procedures associated with the position.
- Undertakes other duties and provides support as and when required.
- Ensure all Health & Safety, policies and procedures are adhered too and enforced at all times.
Desired Skills
- To have Field Sales experience - Having managed a territory.
- To have sold into the NHS before (Preferable not essential)
- Experience of using CRM systems
- Computer Literate (experience and ability to use Microsoft office)
- Full Driving License
