MEDICAL SECRETARY - 12 MONTH MATERNITY COVER£29,252 - £30,242 PER ANNUMMONDAY – FRIDAY, 37.5 HOURS PER WEEKMUCH HADHAM, HERTFORDSHIRE Are you a highly organised individual with secretarial experience working in a clinical setting or similar?About the roleWe are seeking a dynamic individual who has excellent accuracy and attention to detail. This busy but rewarding role will see you turn your hand to any administrative task from managing diaries, updating systems, attending meetings and note taking. Part-time applications will be considered. You will keep working life running smoothly for our clinical teams who provide invaluable nursing and therapy support to children and young people with epilepsy and other complex needs. You will be responsible for;
- providing confidential and efficient administration and secretarial support to our Head of Health Agency and Health Agency team
- liaising with local authorities, social care managers and families maintaining collaborative working relationships
- developing and maintaining systems necessary for the smooth running of the service
- ensuring vital equipment within our nursing and therapy services are of a professional and acceptable standard and arranging services or repairs when necessary
About YouWe’re looking for someone with;
- office experience in a clinical setting at senior manager level or similar (ideally in a medical secretary or personal assistant position)
- excellent organisational and administration skills
- an approachable and friendly manner to foster and maintain good working relationships
- the ability to work to deadlines, managing and prioritising a complex workload
- a solution focused attitude with a flexible and adaptable approach to work
