A respected Specialist School in Wokingham is seeking a Mental Health Support Assistant to assist students with various social, emotional, and mental health needs. The students face challenges such as anxiety, trauma, OCD, depression, attachment disorders, and behavioral difficulties. • Role:Mental Health Support Assistant

• Pay:£83 - £95 per day (based on experience, training, and qualifications)
• Contract:Long-term temporary position with potential for permanent placement
• Hours:Full-Time, Monday to Friday (8:30 am - 3:30 pm)
• Experience:Desired but not essential; a passion for mental health and a positive attitude are key.

Responsibilities Include:

• Supporting students with SEMH needs in both academic and emotional development.
• Providing 1:1 and group support tailored to individual needs.
• Working closely with staff and external professionals to support students' progress.
• Helping students build emotional resilience and encouraging positive behaviors.
