A respected Specialist School in Wokingham is seeking a Mental Health Support Assistant to assist students with various social, emotional, and mental health needs. The students face challenges such as anxiety, trauma, OCD, depression, attachment disorders, and behavioral difficulties. The school is looking for a compassionate, proactive, and resilient individual to help support these students.

This is an excellent opportunity for those with an interest in mental health, psychology, or education. Graduates with qualifications in Psychology, Criminology, or Counselling are particularly encouraged to apply, although previous experience is not mandatory.

  • Hours:Full-Time, Monday to Friday (8:30 am - 3:30 pm)

Responsibilities Include:

  • Supporting students with SEMH needs in both academic and emotional development.
  • Providing 1:1 and group support tailored to individual needs.
  • Working closely with staff and external professionals to support students' progress.
