MEP Manager - Gold Group Ltd : Job Details

Role: MEP ManagerLocation: Andover, HampshireRate: £325-350 per day (OUTSIDE IR35) / 12 month contractA 12 month contract opportunity has arisen for an MEP Manager to join a leading main contractor working within the luxury residential sector in Hampshire. The MEP Manager will be supporting the project team with the installation of mechanical and electrical subcontract packages on an exciting project local to Andover.Working closely with the site team, the MEP Manager will be responsible for:

• Planning and coordination of both mechanical and electrical services including coordination with suppliers, subcontractors, architects, stakeholders and the consultants.
• Budgeting and cost management; overseeing the budgeting process for all mechanical and electrical systems ensuring costs are accurately estimated and managed throughout the project life cycle.
• Overseeing subcontractors installations, ensuring they meet the design requirements and installations are delivered as per specifications and industry standards.
• Provide advice and guidance throughout the procurement process, assigning appropriate materials, equipment and subcontractors to the relevant installations alongside contract negotiation
• Risk management & problem-solving; the MEP Manager will be responsible for indentifying and resolving issues relating to mechanical and electrical installations. This will include anticipating challenges, providing contingency plans and solutions.

MEP Managers considering this role will need to have experience working on mechanical or electrical projects, storng technical experience and be familiar with overseeing multiple teams on building projects within the UK. You'll need excellent communication skills and live within a reasonsble commute of the project which is near to Andover in Hampshire.This is a 12 month contract opportunity, outside of IR35 and offering a maximum day rate of £325 to £350.
