Job Description:Job Title Mergers & Acquisitions Location London Corporate Title Vice President Origination & Advisory combines Investment Banking Coverage and Advisory along with Capital Markets to deliver the most appropriate products to both the C-Suite and Treasurer. Clients include major corporates, financial institutions, financial sponsors, governments and sovereigns around the world. Our industry expertise covers Consumer and Retail Services, Financial Institutions, Financial Sponsors, Healthcare, Industrials, Technology, Media & Telecom and Real Estate, Lodging and Leisure. You will join the team as a Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) Vice President. Your key responsibilities
  • Coordinating and assisting in origination and execution of M&A transactions with European clients
  • Supporting wider teams in the M&A coverage effort of key European accounts
  • Conducting sector and company research, quantitative analysis, company valuation, credit analysis and financial modelling
  • Taking responsibility to communicate with clients, other advisers and senior investment bankers, in both origination and execution projects
Your skills and experience
  • Relevant Corporate Finance experience most importantly in advisory but with knowledge of capital market products
  • Proven execution skills, complex deal understanding and structuring capabilities in M&A
  • Strong analytical approach combined with creative problem solving abilities. High levels of initiative and ingenuity, high proactivity levels and drive
  • Effective organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple client projects simultaneously
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills and the ability to work effectively in teams
  • Ability to drive and influence senior, cross-functional and cross-regional deal teams, interfacing with multiple business partners across business lines and regions. Ability to creatively solve problems and to successfully navigate a large, matrix based organisation
