Salary: £40,000 - £45,000

About the Role:My client is a leading organisation in the technology and healthcare space and is seeking a skilled Microsoft 365 Engineer to join their team. This role focuses on managing and automating IT operations within the Microsoft 365 (M365) ecosystem. You’ll play a key part in driving adoption of M365 tools, optimising workflows, and supporting staff with IT-related challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the M365 infrastructure and manage daily operations.
• Automate administration, monitoring, and support of cloud products to improve efficiency.
• Drive adoption of M365 tools and technologies across the business.
• Conduct audits of systems and software to ensure compliance and performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, providing effective solutions.
• Collaborate with external service providers for system support and optimisation.
• Offer enterprise-level desktop support and assist global IT teams when required.
• Mentor and train staff, contributing to their professional development.

Required Skills and Experience:

• 2+ years of experience working in M365 cloud environments, with exposure to structured change control processes.
• Strong knowledge of the Microsoft ecosystem, including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, Intune, Office 365, Azure AD, and Windows.
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 Power Platform and best practices for introducing new cloud technologies.
• Understanding of information security principles and industry standards.
• Experience with Windows Server OS, Active Directory, and M365 migrations and advanced administration.
• Certifications in Microsoft 365 or related technologies are a plus
