About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Microsoft Engineer to join our client. You will play a crucial role in helpng design, implement, and support Microsoft-based solutions to meet our clients needs. This role requires a deep understanding of Microsoft technologies, including but not limited to Windows Server, Active Directory, Azure, and Microsoft 365.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, implement, and maintain Microsoft infrastructure and services (Windows Server, Active Directory, Azure, Microsoft 365).
  • Manage and monitor all installed systems and infrastructure to ensure high availability and optimal performance.
  • Troubleshoot system failures, providing technical support and guidance to internal teams.
  • Develop and implement disaster recovery strategies and backup plans.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and integrate Microsoft solutions that meet business objectives.
  • Maintain system security, ensuring that all solutions comply with industry regulations and best practices.
  • Provide training and support to IT staff and end users on Microsoft technologies and tools.
  • Stay updated on the latest Microsoft technologies and integrate them where relevant.
Qualifications & Skills:
  • Proven experience as a Microsoft Engineer or similar role.
  • Strong expertise in Windows Server (2016/2019/2022), Active Directory, and Group Policy.
  • Experience with cloud technologies, particularly Microsoft Azure.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365 administration and troubleshooting.
  • Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for task automation.
  • Knowledge of network infrastructure (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP) and virtualization (Hyper-V, VMware).
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Microsoft certifications (e.g., MCSE, MCSA, or Azure certifications) are highly desirable.

This role requires you to have experience working previosuly for an IT Managed Service Provider and does not offer sponsership.
