Mid / Senior AWS DevOps Engineer - Serverless & IoT - Lambdas

About the Role: We're seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to drive cloud-native initiatives, focusing on AWS serverless architecture and IoT solutions. As a key member of the team, you'll architect and implement cutting-edge solutions.

What You'll Do Transform their cloud infrastructure by:

• Architecting sophisticated serverless applications using AWS Lambda and API Gateway

• Developing robust IoT solutions leveraging AWS IoT Core and Analytics

• Connect their monolithic web application to their hub using API translators running in Lambdas.

• Implementing infrastructure as code using modern tools like AWS CDK
• Building automated CI/CD pipelines with comprehensive testing

• Optimising system performance and reliability

• Ensure they are using the right AWS Services and AWS cost optimisation.

Your Profile The ideal candidate brings:

• 4+ years of software development expertise (Python, Node.js)
• Deep understanding of AWS Lambda and serverless patterns
• Hands-on experience with AWS IoT Core and related services
• Strong knowledge of IoT protocols (MQTT, HTTP, WebSocket)
• Proven track record in production serverless applications
• Expertise in infrastructure as code and automation
