Mobile Air Conditioning Engineer - Exeter - Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited : Job Details

LocationDevon and Somerset - This is a field-based mobile position. To be considered for the role, you must live in postcodes starting with EX, TA or TQ.Salary£28,548 - £50,000 (depending on qualifications and experience)Role typeFull time - PermanentDay to day responsibilitiesWe are seeking an experienced Mobile Air Conditioning Engineer to undertake the maintenance and repair of air conditioning equipment. This includes servicing, maintenance, and repair of split AC systems, VRV/VRF systems, and heat pumps. You may also be required to work on specific refrigeration equipment such as chilled cabinets, multideck units or ice machines.You will be working across a variety of manufacturer systems, including Daikin, Mitsubishi, Midea, Toshiba, and LG. You will be expected to complete all work-related documentation accurately and on time, keeping logs of inspection reports and remedial work. A PDA will be given to you to use whilst on duty.Experience needed

• An in-date UK Driving licence
• The ideal candidate will have experience within a Maintenance/Facilities Management environment.
• Relevant qualifications, such as FGAS & ODS regulations, a time-served apprenticeship, C&G Level 3/NVQ or equivalent.
• Knowledge of Health & Safety, Permit to Work procedures, and safe systems work systems are essential.
• Working in confined spaces, heights and performing manual tasks/manual handling
• Good written and verbal communication
• Must be comfortable working on an on-call rota basis
