In this role, you are the primary contact for providing top quality service and maintenance to HVAC systems. We work within a set timeframe and according to a defined process, service agreement and customer needs.

What you will do
As a HVAC Service Technician, your day-to-day role will include service, maintenance and repair work on various Chiller, AC and other HVAC equipment installed at our clients’ facilities. This is a primarily a static role based on a NHS Acute Hospital within the Slough area. You may also have to travel and support the mobile team when workload demands covering Berkshire, Oxfordshire, Surrey, Hampshire, Greater London.
In this role you are the primary contact for all technical service issues, responsible for trouble shooting and resolving highly complex systems within a set timeframe and according to a defined process, service agreement and customer needs.
You will be involved with commissioning, servicing, repair, and installation works. With the work completed according to set specifications and customer expectations to support our client sites. Our Service Technicians provide technical experience and mentoring to less experienced service team members and coordinate on site work activity. Health and Safety will be at the forefront of everything you do.
What we look for
Proven experience as a Chiller/ AC / HVAC Service Engineer, any further building services experience would also be helpful.
Relevant technical qualifications in HVAC: NVQ level 2 as a minimum and F-Gas Certificate.
Strong knowledge of Chiller systems, controls, and components: DX, Split & VRV systems, AHUs & ventilation plant.
Experience with major manufacturers such as York, Trane, Carrier, Airedale, Hitachi and Mitsubishi etc.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
Strong admin skills using IT devices for work completion and technical reports.
Participation in on call rota.
A full UK driving license and willingness to travel as required.
