Are you a fully qualified HGV Fitter/Mechanic/Technician living in the Nuneaton area looking for a new opportunity?

The role of the HGV Technician:

You will be working on a variety of tractor and trailer units of differing makes and models, of differing ages and possibly the odd tanker. You will be carrying out inspections to a varied and diverse fleet and you can expect to be situated in a positive and vibrant working environment.

The type of work as a HGV Technician you can expect to be carrying out includes (but is not limited to)

• Routine (and preventative) maintenance
• MOT preparation
• Working on all manner of trailers, curtain sided, rigids, double deck
• Scheduled servicing to DVSA standards
• 6 (or 8) weekly inspections
• Correction of running defects
• Chassis and fabrication work
• Hydraulics and pneumatics
• Improvement of vehicle standards
• Electrical and wiring inspections and corrections

Requirements for this HGV Technician position:

• Ideally you will be fully qualified (City & Guilds), NVQ or equivalent but we will consider Time Served HGV Mechanics
• Additional accreditations such as IRTEC or an EV qualification would be desirable but not essential.
• Full Clean Driving Licence

45 hours per week,

Salary up to £44,000 plus overtime.
