Mobile Service Engineer - Commercial Gas

Type of Contract: Permanent, Full-Time (40 hours per week, 8 am - 4:30 pm)Coverage Area: East Anglia Region

Are you a skilled and qualified Commercial Gas Engineer with a passion for providing top-notch service? My Times Top 40 client are looking for a Mobile Service Engineer to join our dynamic team and deliver exceptional maintenance, repairs, and installation services across a variety of commercial properties.

?? What You'll Be Doing

• Conducting planned maintenance (PPM) visits and responding to breakdowns and repairs.
• Handling small installation or refurbishment projects.
• Completing site surveys and assisting with tender preparation.
• Participating in an on-call rota system.
• Providing on-site advice and clear explanations to clients and guidance to colleagues.
• Ensuring statutory compliance tasks such as emergency lighting checks and tap temperature readings.

?? Your Experience:

• Strong field-based experience in fault finding, repairs, and PPM on boilers, heating systems, and mechanical/plumbing equipment.
• Knowledge of electrical systems and plant controls.
• Experience working in occupied premises, with a customer-focused approach.
• Installation experience on commercial heating systems is desirable.
• Computer literacy and ability to complete detailed job reports.
• Clean UK driving license.
