We're looking for a passionate and dedicated Modern Foreign Languages Teacher to join our team in Preston! In this role, you'll help KS3 and KS4 students improve their language skills. We offer a competitive daily pay rate, depending on your qualifications and experience.

In this role, you will teach the students to help them grow in their language skills and cultural understanding. You will design and deliver engaging lessons that encourage students to become confident language users, promoting both academic success and an appreciation for the language and its culture.

Responsibilities:

• Creating a positive learning environment through professionally planned lessons and classroom displays
• Using imagination and innovation to enhance the learning experience in children
• Having control over the whole class and maintaining discipline
• Adhering to the curriculum, including up to date changes in the structure
• Use assessment data to inform lesson planning
• Set homework and mark promptly
• Ensure a high quality of teaching and learning takes place
• Deal with immediate problems/emergencies according to school policy and procedures
• Strong subject knowledge
• Punctual and reliable

Personal Attributes:

• You will have a genuine passion for teaching
• Experience up to key stage 3/4
• QTS/PGCE equivalent
• Be flexible and committed
