About The RolePosition Overview: The Monitoring Officer will assist the Compliance and Training Manager in overseeing the Trust-wide OCS Soft Services, ensuring adherence to the National Standards of Cleaning 2021.Role Significance: As a vital component of the OCS monitoring team, the incumbent will play a crucial role in maintaining the quality of Facility services, while also offering specialized guidance and insights pertaining to cleaning and catering operations.

Main responsibilities of the role:

  • To monitor, document and accurately report on performance levels of each of the following areas: Portering, Domestic Services, Linen, Waste management, Catering, Helpdesk standards, ensuring any potential failures of performance are escalated and recorded accordingly.
  • To liaise with stakeholders across the Trust, including, Patient representatives, Nursing staff, Matrons, Managers to ensure full consultation and views are sought regarding the Facilities services
  • To take appropriate action when contractual performance does not meet with the required output specification.
  • Support with the annual 'Patient Lead Assessments of the Care Environment' inspections across CNWL, ensuring the standards laid out in the PLACE documents are completed.
  • Undertake scheduled audits covering the Soft FM provision across CNWL sites. This includes but not limited to Maintenance, Nursing, Portering, Domestic Services, Linen, Waste management, Catering.

Required experience and qualifications:

  • NVQ in Administration or similar
  • IOSH / NEBOSH desirable
  • Good working knowledge of administrative duties
  • Experience of reporting
  • Excellent PC skills to include Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint
  • Development and implementation of process and procedure
