Mortgage Administrator

Salary: £25k - £28k + company benefit package

Location: Hove

Hours: Mon-Fri 9am - 5pm (office based)

You will already have a proven administrative background within a FCA regulated environment but ideally within mortgages.

Responsibilities:

  • Liasing with clients, lenders, solicitors and introducers over the phone and via email correspondence.
  • Managing a case load of new business applications through to completion.
  • Chasing clients and lenders for key documentation and information.
  • Uploading and processing applications onto the lender portals.
  • Updating accurately the CRM system.
  • Adhering to FCA compliance and regulations.
  • Work with the lender panel criteria to ensure the most appropriate products are offered.
  • Building strong client relationships with clients and lenders.
  • Ensuring loan applications are processes effectively and within the agreed deadlines.
  • Keeping clients up to date with the progress of their application.

The right candidate will have the following skills and experience to apply:

  • Great communication and organisation skills with the ability to build strong business relationships.
  • Proven administration background ideally within mortgages or within a FCA regulated environment.
  • Strong IT skills, inclusive of Word, Excel, CRM systems and using IT/lender portals.
  • CeMAP qualified or happy to start taking the qualifications.
  • Personable, team player with a "can do" attitude.
  • Dedication to providing outstanding service and support to clients.
  • Ability to prioritise your own workload and meet deadlines.
  • Great attention to detail.
