Head-quartered in London, they are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Mortgage Adviser to help manage their client base across Oxford. Our client specialises in the HNW / Mass Affluent market and is seeking someone they can trust to manage this calibre of business, converting a substantial number of leads from partner estate agencies. Who we’re looking for:
- The ideal candidate will be a proven, fully qualified Mortgage Adviser with some experience in the HNW market.
- You will be ambitious to take your career to the next level by partnering with an established company.
- A strong knowledge of mortgage products and the lending market is essential.
- Along with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- You will need to be a self-starter, confident in working independently from home and managing a significant client book.
- You must be passionate about the industry with a commitment to staying on top of the most current market trends.
Responsibilities:
- Consult with existing clients to discuss their mortgage needs and financial goals
- Business Development and handling with new business enquiries
- Provide expert advice and guidance on mortgage options, rates, and terms
- Assist clients in completing mortgage applications and gathering necessary documentation
- Evaluate client creditworthiness and financial information to determine loan eligibility
- Collaborate with lenders and underwriters to ensure timely processing and approval of mortgage applications
- Stay updated on industry regulations and changes in mortgage products and programs
- Build and maintain relationships with real estate agents, builders, and other referral sources
- Provide exceptional customer service throughout the mortgage process
- Commitment to continued professional development
Experience:
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a fully qualified Mortgage Adviser.
- Demonstrable business development skills
- In-depth knowledge of mortgage products, programs, and lending guidelines
- Strong understanding of financial analysis, credit evaluation, and risk assessment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple client files simultaneously
- Proficient in mortgage software systems and MS Office Suite
