Are you an experienced Mortgage Broker looking for a new position with a more prestigious company with higher earning potential? Our Client, an independent financial services company are looking for a Mortgage Broker to join the team in Ickenham due to continued growth. The company offer affordable expert advice, whilst providing top quality customer service. As a result of their success they need someone who has experience within this sector to help with the ever growing case load. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Mortgage Broker to come into a hot desk working in a team of 3, where you will be passed multiple mortgage leads from an award winning estate agency who have currently 14 offices. You must be fully CeMAP qualified with CAS status, well presented and able to work to deadlines in a busy environment. You must possess experience with residential, specialist, complex and buy to let mortgages. Experience in dealing with Life Cover and Equity release will be beneficial, and ideally with a banking or financial background, but not essential. Salary package and benefits of the Mortgage Broker role include:

  • Basic £25,000 - £30,000
  • OTE £50,000 DOE
  • 10% commission on everything banked

The skills and experience required for the Mortgage Broker role include:

  • Thorough and up to date knowledge of the mortgage market
  • Full CeMAP qualification with experience underwriting mortgages, life protection and equity release
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment with an energetic personality
  • Experience working towards targets/objectives would be advantageous
  • Well spoken, with superb written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to build a rapport with clients and understand their needs
  • Smart and well presented
  • Ambitious and self motivated
  • Able to thrive under pressure whilst managing time effectively
  • Strong attention to detail
