Basic Salary £36k + Bonus

Job Description & Responsibilities

As an MOT Tester, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and roadworthiness of vehicles by conducting thorough inspections and examinations in compliance with DVSA standards. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Conducting MOT tests on various vehicles in accordance with regulatory guidelines and standards.
• Performing comprehensive checks on vehicle systems, components, and structures to identify any defects or non-compliance.
• Accurately completing all necessary paperwork and electronic documentation related to MOT testing and certification.
• Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of DVSA guidelines and regulations and staying informed about any changes or updates in the MOT testing process.
• Collaborating with the service team to ensure efficient workflow, effective communication, and excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Valid MOT Tester License (Classes 4 and 7) issued by the DVSA.
• Proven experience as an MOT Tester, with a strong understanding of MOT testing standards and procedures.
• In-depth knowledge of vehicle systems, components, and their functions.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work meticulously to ensure accurate testing and reporting.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively explain test results and vehicle requirements to customers.
• Ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Commitment to adhering to all health and safety protocols in the workplace.

Salary and Benefits

• Basic Salary to £36k
• Bonus scheme
• 47.5 hours across Mon to Sat
