We are excited to offer the opportunity for a passionate and skilled Motor Vehicle Lecturer to join our client's supportive team in West London. Motor Vehicle Section boasts fully fitted, recently refurbished workshops equipped with the latest technology, including hybrid/electric systems. This role is ideal for someone with industry experience and a keen interest in shaping the future of young learners aged 16-19.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Deliver engaging and effective teaching sessions to learners aged 16-19, primarily focusing on City and Guilds qualifications, with plans to introduce IMI qualifications.
- Utilise a variety of teaching methods and tools to accommodate different learning styles and needs.
- Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student engagement and motivation.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to help them achieve their educational goals.
- Participate in curriculum development activities to ensure course content remains relevant and up-to-date.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and improve teaching strategies.
- If not already qualified, participate in teacher training programs provided by the College to obtain necessary teaching qualifications.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Minimum Level 3 qualification in Motor Vehicle/Automotive.
- Experience gained within the Motor Vehicle industry.
- Some experience in teaching, training, or assessing, with a willingness to develop further in this area.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to engage and motivate young learners.
- Passion for Motor Vehicle technology and education.
- Commitment to professional development and learning, particularly in educational methodologies and technologies.
