MRO/CAPEX Procurement Buyer - 1st Executive Ltd : Job Details

Experienced Procurement CAPEX/MRO Category Buyer required for a global manufacturer based in Zurich, Switzerland. Opportunity to join a passionate team within a rapidly growing business who are making significant investments in innovation. This is a true end-to-end Procurement role delivering long range procurement across CAPEX and MRO and requires you to have a blended hands on and strategic approach. Our client is a renowned leader in their field and are looking forward to welcoming you.

The successful candidate will deliver strategic sourcing across processing equipment, MRO and CAPEX contracts supporting regional operations, working with global Project Managers, Engineering Teams and the global Procurement function.

You will:

• Collaborate closely with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders to optimize equipment specification, understand business requirements and lead tenders and spot buys
• Meet strategic procurement goals through a hands on and agile approach
• Reduce the total cost of ownership through a long-term orientated supply base
• Juggle multiple projects to achievement business goals
• Implement standardized sourcing processes, create regional/global supply agreements, and provide budgetary support for capital equipment

You will demonstrate:

• A strong academic background with at least a Bachelor's degree level qualification
• Fluent English and ideally French language skills
• Exceptional negotiation and stakeholder management skills
• Comprehensive experience of buying/procuring CAPEX/MRO
• A hands on, agile and 'can-do' approach across all levels within an organisation
• The ability to work autonomously and complete multiple projects on time
• A desire to work in a dynamic and high growth environment with a team who embrace innovation

Please note you must be able to commit to working in Zurich on a hybrid basis and ideally already be based in Switzerland.
