Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

• Salary: £35,000 - £45,000

• Job Type: Full-time, Permanent – DAYS ONLY

We are seeking a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our client’s specialist manufacturing maintenance team during an exciting period of expansion. Day to Day of the Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer Role:

• Responding to breakdowns by fault-finding both electrical and mechanical issues.
• Performing routine, regular preventative maintenance in compliance with relevant regulations to minimise downtime.
• Maintaining and repairing machinery
• Fault finding as required and supporting on-site services.
• Managing spares stock control, ordering parts, and liaising with suppliers.
• Supporting various continuous improvement initiatives and documenting procedures.

Required Skills & Qualifications of the Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer:

• 3-5 years of relevant experience in industry repairing/maintaining equipment, fault finding & repairs.
• Mechanical or electrical engineering qualification such as City & Guilds, ONC, or HNC BTEC.
• Experience with pneumatics and hydraulics.
• IT proficiency, including experience with Excel/Word and bespoke maintenance IT packages.

Desirable Skills:

• 18th Edition IEE wiring regulations.
