The company are a leading manufacturer of products and solutions for the security industry.

The business are seeking to recruit a multi skilled maintenance engineer for their operations.

The main responsibility for the role is you will be responsible for the continuous running of plant machinery and to carry out any facility maintenance for the plant when required. The role will oversee routine maintenance and organise repairs.

Responsibilities

As a maintenance engineer, the duties are as follows;

• Carry out maintenance and preventative maintenance on production and plant machinery.
• Carry out routine maintenance work and respond to equipment faults.
• General building and infrastructure maintenance and repairs.
• Carry out inspection of plant and equipment as required.
• Maintain maintenance service records.
• Work alongside, supervise and co-ordinate sub-contractors.
• Maintain stocks of spare parts.

Key skills for this role are as follows;

• Multi skilled both mechanically and electrically.
• Previous maintenance experience in a production / manufacturing environment.
• Electrical background (BS 7671).
• Hydraulic and compression mould press knowledge.
• Able to use hand and power tools.

The shift is 3 rotation - 6am to 2pm, 2pm to 10pm, 10pm to 6am- changing weekly.

Salary is up to £49k per annum DOE

The role is based in the Coventry area, so is commutable from Nuneaton, Bedworth, Kenilworth, Solihull, Birmingham, Solihull, Rugby, Hinckley.
