The Role

As a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you will play a key role in keeping production running smoothly, working on paint filling machinery and other essential equipment. You will work shifts on a weekly rotation:

• Week 1: Monday - Friday, 6 AM - 2 PM
• Week 2: Monday - Friday, 2 PM - 10 PM

About You (Essential Requirements)

• Time-served in a mechanical or electrical discipline
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar maintenance role within manufacturing
• Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding and repair skills
• A proactive problem-solver with a commitment to continuous improvement
• Must be able to commute to Birstall daily

Nice to Haves (Desirable Skills & Experience)

• Experience in Preventative Maintenance procedures
• Knowledge of PLC/computer-controlled equipment
• Knowledge and experience of pneumatic and hydraulic systems
• Confined space trained and certified (Training provided)
• IPAF/FLT trained and certified (Training provided)
• Experience with mechanical fitting, plumbing, pipe work, and welding
• Strong communication skills at all levels
• Comprehensive knowledge of Health & Safety requirements
• Conscientious, reliable, and proactive attitude
• Good numerical and verbal reasoning skills
