Maintenance Operative

A position has arisen for a temporary to permanent Maintenance Operative within an established public sector organisation Buckinghamshire.

Your duties will include:

• Providing repairs on a reactive basis
• Supporting a wide variety of maintenance jobs on a flexible basis, with significant opportunity to learn and develop new skills in building fabric, plumbing, carpentry, redecoration, basic electrics, equipment repairs, furniture build and repair
• Reporting faults identified either when carrying out routine checks/planned preventative maintenance
• Liaising with a range of internal and external contractors
• Completing paperwork after each job promptly and accurately
• Supporting any emergency situations on site

The successful candidate should have:

• You must have previous experience carrying out maintenance duties and have your own basic tools
• Full & Clean driving license as you will sometimes need to get between sites
• Please note a standard DBS will be required for this position
