Murex Developer - Remote (6-Month Contract, Ltd Company)

Robert Half is supporting a global consulting firm, in their search for a highly skilled Murex Developer. This role focuses on the development, integration, and enhancement of Murex applications, with a key emphasis on building and connecting integration layers within a complex financial environment. The ideal candidate will have strong coding and system integration expertise, ensuring seamless performance and connectivity.

Key Details:

• Contract Length: Initial 6-month contract.
• Location:Fully remote.
• Rate:c.£700 per day (via Ltd company contract).
• ASAP Start

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and enhance Murex applications, ensuring high performance and stability.
• Build integration layers, connecting Murex to external and internal systems.
• Handle application ownership, troubleshooting, and ongoing improvements.
• Work with global teams, including the Murex application owner based in Europe.
• Drive automation and process efficiencies within the Murex environment.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Expert-level Murex Development skills - strong coding and integration experience.
• Proven track record in Murex application development, configuration, and support.
• Experience in building Murex integration layers for seamless system connectivity.
• Strong understanding of SQL, Unix/Linux, scripting, and automation.
• Ability to handle complex troubleshooting, technical enhancements, and system optimisation.
