Day to Day of the Role:
- Deliver high-quality music lessons to students across various age groups.
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to a range of abilities and learning styles.
- Foster a love for music and encourage students to explore their musical talents.
- Assess and record student progress, providing feedback to help them improve.
- Participate in school events and performances, showcasing student work.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the music curriculum and cross-curricular learning opportunities.
- Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports student well-being.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is preferred but not essential.
- A strong passion for music and a commitment to teaching.
- Proven ability to create a stimulating and supportive learning environment.
- A track record of promoting student engagement and progress in music.
- Willingness to participate in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching practice.
