About the Role

As a Music Teacher, you will:

• Teach Music across KS3 and KS4, fostering a love of music and creativity in your students.
• Plan and deliver engaging lessons, including practical and theoretical elements, covering a wide range of musical styles and genres.
• Prepare students for performances, examinations, and extracurricular music activities.
• Assess, monitor, and support student progress, providing tailored feedback to encourage development.
• Create a positive, inclusive learning environment that inspires students to achieve their full potential.
• Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to the wider school culture and music department.

What We're Looking For

To thrive in this role, you should:

• Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
• Have experience teaching Music at secondary level, including KS3 and KS4.
• Be passionate about music education and inspiring young people to develop their musical talents.
• Have excellent classroom management skills and the ability to engage and motivate students.
• Be committed to contributing to the wider school community and fostering a love for music.
