MX SWIFT Payments Associate - Montpellier Resourcing : Job Details

Up to £60,000 plus excellent bonus and benefits

12 month FTC

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experience Payment Operations Associate to join a highly regarded international bank in London on a 1 year maternity cover FTC. Joining this brilliant team, you will be responsible for the processing of international payments, to include funding control, nostro control and SWIFT authorisation. Candidates must have experience approving and releasing payments, knowledge of MT and MX Messages, and will have previously worked within banking.

Duties of the MX SWIFT Payment Associate role to include:

• Responsible for processing of international payments outsourced from the European offices including funding/nostro control and SWIFT input/authorisation and monitoring
• Responsible for following the internal procedures for manual payments
• Understanding the concept of nostro accounts and funding

Requirements for the successful candidate to include:

• Must have experience with international / cross border payments experience
• Familiar and experienced with Swift MX and MT messages
• Experience in approving payments is essential
• Experience working in banking highly desirable
• Compliance awareness when processing payments
• Customer-centric career experience
• Ability to work in fast paced environment and work to tight deadlines
