Our client is a specialist Manufacturer of standardised and customised Heating & Cooling solutions and services.
My clients specialised professional competency, solidly-based expertise, customer proximity and multidimensional product portfolio make my client the partner of choice in the heat exchange sector.
My client supplies customers in highly diverse global sectors: energy; data centre, chemical industries; oil and gas; marine applications; HVAC and refrigeration; environmental applications as well as the food and beverage industries. My client is a specialist in providing customer-specific products and services and supports its target customers throughout a global sales, service and production network.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a NATIONAL ACCOUNT MANAGER to work within the UK team.
The Role:
- To develop and increase sales of my clients’ products and solutions in the UK and Irish markets
- Strategically manage and grow Key Distribution relationships across the UK and Ireland
- Collaborate with the customer base effectively to ensure maximum profitable sales.
Responsibilities
- National management of Key Accounts
- Creating an account strategy based on deep customer insights and in-depth market segment knowledge.
- Driving, coordinating and monitoring execution of the account plan to achieve the set objectives
- Delivering on clearly defined objectives.
- Establishing and maintaining personal relationships with relevant representatives of the Key Accounts, particularly the key decision-making units.
- Developing and building relationships within the network surrounding these accounts as attending industry events and socialising with branches is critical to success.
- Taking the lead in the acquisition of new accounts.
- Direct accountability for sales, margin and customer satisfaction.
- Working in harmony with Sales Managers throughout the UK to achieve maximum output.
- Working with the operations teams to ensure appropriate inventory control
Experience / Skills Required:
- YOU MUST HAVE Experience within the Air Conditioning, Ventilation, Heating and Cooling Products sector and a proven track record of securing profitable business and enhancing relationships with key Distribution Partners.
- A demonstrated ability to identify and exploit national account business opportunities with major corporate customers are desirable.
- The individual selected should possess excellent overall business skills, including excellent written and verbal communication, planning, presentation and organisational abilities.
- Financial and mathematical acumen is required
- The ability to foster an environment that encourages initiative, creativity and teamwork.
- The candidate must be a problem solver
- The candidate will be a strategic thinker who can demonstrate the capability to assume increased responsibility in the future.
- The individual will have personal qualities of honesty and integrity, and an interest in people development.
- A willingness to travel within the UK and occasionally in Europe is required. A current UK driving license is mandatory.
SALARY & BENEFITS
STRONG INDUSTRY LEADING BASIC SALARY (up to £60,000 larger basic available D.O.E) + 20% OTE + QUALITY LOW TAX COMPANY CAR + PENSION + MOBILE, LAPTOP + 25 DAYS HOLIDAY
