At Adaptable Recruitment we have an Exciting opportunity for Multiple National Account Managers to join a leading wholesaler in the Manchester area.Package: up to £55,000 Depending on experienceHolidays: 24 days + birthday & bank holidaysLocation: Manchester - Remote - Frequent TravelBenefits: £5K Company Car Allowance - Quarterly bonus scheme - Enhanced Package Main Responsibilities to include:

Account Management

  • Establish and maintain relationships with national accounts in the FMCG sector.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for key retail accounts, addressing any issues or concerns promptly and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct regular business reviews with key retail accounts to track performance, identify areas for improvement, and drive sales growth.
  • Strategic Planning

  • Develop and implement strategic account plans to achieve growth targets and maximise sales opportunities.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities, providing insights and recommendations to senior management to inform business decisions.
  • Collaboration and Coordination

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, operations, and supply chain, to ensure smooth execution of promotions, product launches, and customer needs.
  • Negotiate and finalise contracts, pricing, and terms with national accounts while adhering to company policies and guidelines.
  • Performance Management

  • Manage sales forecast accuracy and inventory levels for national accounts, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of products to meet customer demands.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on account performance, sales, and market insights to senior management.
  • The Ideal Candidate:

    • Experience in national account management in the FMCG industry.
    • Proven track record of developing and managing successful relationships with national retail accounts.
    • Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to influence and persuade others.
    • Knowledge of sales and marketing strategies in the FMCG industry.
    • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Creative thinker with a proactive and results-driven approach.
    • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Suite and CRM software.
    • Availability for frequent travel as needed.
