An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Technical Analyst to become part of the National Data and Analytics (NDA) Data Engineering Team.The NDA Data Engineering Team is working on providing data to drive the business forward. You'll work in a team that has access to end-to-end business data whilst also working with new technologies and data sources. As part of NDA, you will form close relationships with Business Partners, Data Scientists and Data Visualisers to deliver data driven solutions to the business. We are looking for someone to come into supplement the existing NDA team in delivering significant data and reporting solutions to the business.Reporting to the NDA Manager, the candidate will be required to collaborate with various business departments and have good communication and organisational skills focusing on the ability to translate technical terminology to non-technical users. - Project Management of demands and initiatives
- Provide timely and efficient data integration, including transformation, cleansing and preparation
- Complete Data Engineering end-to-end ownership of demand delivery
- Ensuring demands within area of responsibility are delivered on time to agreed scope
- Providing 2nd or 3rd level technical support
About You
- IT background (e.g. development, data analytics, support, governance)
- Experience with data modelling, SQL scripting, Alteryx, MIcrosoft SSIS and creating and managing ETL processes
- Experience of interpreting business requirements into technical solutions
- Able to interact confidently with technical and non-technical audiences
- The ability to interact with the operational business and other departments, translating technical concepts and problems into business

- Excellent listening, interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with a solution-oriented mindset
- An enthusiasm for technology, whilst being customer and business focused
