Network Engineer - Contract - Oliver James : Job Details

Oliver James is partnering with an international financial services client based in Zurich to find a Network Engineer with expertise in security technologies and network management. This role offers the opportunity to work in a diverse, evolving environment whilst supporting modern network technologies.

You will be responsible for the management, operation, improvement and security management of network systems. Your role will involve enhancing network security, troubleshooting, and ensuring smooth, efficient operations for business-critical applications.

This position is available as an initial 6-month contract with flexible remote work options available.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Network Engineer ideally working with Checkpoint Firewalls, Tufin Secure Track, Citrix Netscaler, and Skyhigh Secure Web Gateway
• Cisco knowledge is an advantage
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in a network security context
• Excellent communication skills in English & German

We have generous daily rates on offer and you will be able to work either via your own GmbH consulting business or as a temporary employee of Oliver James.

Duration: 6 months (with potential for extension)
