Network Engineer - Venn Group : Job Details

Venn Group Network Engineer 12 month contract SC Cleared On-Site - South West Inside IR35, Rate DOE

Our client require multiple Network Engineers to join them on a long-term contract.

Responsibilities:

• Support the technical team responsible for the design, development, documentation, building and validation
• Design and development of all networking components forming the platform
• Production and review of all levels of design artefacts
• Work alongside Service Management to resolve issues
• Support with system testing activities

Skills Required:

• 3+ years’ of experience within defence industry
• Extensive experience of design, implementation and troubleshooting including advanced knowledge with routers, switches and firewalls
• Hands-on experience with network technologies and infrastructure e.g. Cisco Nexus, IOS XE, VXLAN, Leaf and Spine network architecture
• Networking certifications (at least CCNP) and Virtualisation certification – VMware VCP-NV
• SC Cleared

Desirable:

• Experience working within the public sector/defence/Defence Digital
• Defence Networks and Gateways
