Description

My client is a leading independent wealth management provider in the UK, serving over 100,000 account holders. They offer services including investment management, retirement planning, and tax-efficient investing.

The Network team supports around 2,300 remote users in the UK and Ireland, managing core network services and security controls. The role suits an Engineer with Azure networking experience (VNETs, ExpressRoute, VPNs) and day-to-day network support responsibilities, including projects across on-premises, cloud, and security.

Responsibilities:

Manage WAN, LAN, internet, data centres, and cloud networks.

Implement network changes and security controls.

Enhance network services through process automation.

Update documentation and manage third-party relationships.

Occasional out-of-hours work.

Technical Skills:

5+ years in complex network environments with a security focus.

Knowledge of networking, Check Point firewalls, and Azure.

Experience with Meraki, Arista, Forcepoint Proxy, Citrix NetScaler, and Forescout CounterACT.

Scripting skills

Understanding of Windows and Linux.

Qualifications:

Relevant experience is essential; IT security certifications like Cisco CCNA/CCNP or Check Point CCSA are beneficial.
