Are you an ACA/ACCA Qualified Accountant ideally with RI status (or working towards RI status) as well as strong audit, tax and staff management experience achieved in a client facing practice environment?

Our client is a well established, entrepreneurial, friendly & rapidly expanding firm of Accountants with various offices in the Surrey & London areas who currently have a unique opportunity for a Qualified Accountant at their Weybridge office

This highly professional and extremely welcoming firm provide accounting, consulting and taxation & other business services to a wide variety of businesses, sole traders, partnerships and limited companies in the local area. They are currently in the process of an ambitious expansion plan and are looking to recruit a strong client facing qualified accountant to join their team at a senior level to carry out the following duties:-

Preparation and Audit of Statutory Accounts

Preparation Corporate Tax returns and computations

Client meetings, advisory and correspondence

Promotion of the firm’s services

Reporting to and liaising with the Partners

Portfolio management, internal billing and credit control

Business Development of the Audit Department

Dealing with prospects, preparing audit budgets, proposals and converting prospects into new clients

Development of audit team

General supervision of junior and other support staff including planning and monitoring of work, on the job training and assessment of job performance

Maintenance of continued professional development and technical standards through training courses, technical reading.

Progression to becoming a responsible Individual (RI) in order to sign off audit reports

Applications for this new opportunity are particularly welcomed from Qualified ACA/ACCA Accountants with c10 years experience of working in a UK practice with 1st class communication & client facing skills and excellent technical ability that includes audit. Good supervision/delegation skills would also be essential as well as a strong commercial acumen.

This is a full Time, permanent role based at our clients Weybridge office but with the possibility of flexible working hours/working from home and our client can offer genuine partnership prospects in the short to medium term for the right applicant as they continue to purchase new accountancy firms and expand their client base
