TSR Legal is excited to be supporting a friendly and reputable firm, recognised for delivering high-quality work in private client and property law. The firm is looking to establish a new family law team and has asked TSR Legal to assist in finding a Head of Department/Partner to lead and grow their Family Department in Cardiff. The firm operates across multiple offices in the UK.

In this role, you will be responsible for setting up and leading the family law team, which will provide services to privately funded clients across all areas of matrimonial and family law. Working closely with partners, you’ll have the opportunity to build relationships with both new and existing clients, with many referrals coming from the firm's successful commercial and personal law teams. This is an exciting opportunity to develop a department from scratch, focusing on new business and leading a growing team of lawyers in the future.

The ideal candidate will have at least 7 years' PQE and solid experience in privately funded family law. You should have excellent organisational skills and, above all, a strong commitment to providing exceptional client care. While prior managerial experience is desirable, it is not a requirement.
