Are you an experienced Financial Advisor seeking a new challenging role within a well established and highly professional local organisation?

Have 1st class client liaison and communication skills and live locally to either the Sutton or Byfleet areas?

Our client is an independent multi Partner firm of Certified Chartered Accountants, Insolvency Practitioners, and Independent Financial Advisors dedicated to ensuring our clients achieve their goals, maximising profits, and minimising taxation liabilities.

With offices based in Sutton and West Byfleet in Surrey they serve clients throughout London and the South-East and are currently seeking a Financial Advisor to join their team.

As our clients Financial Advisor you will play a pivotal role in expanding their client base by leveraging the existing databases of an accountancy firm based in Surrey. Your task will be to nurture and grow relationships with potential clients, ensuring their financial well-being while aligning with our client’s values and goals & a summary of responsibilities appears below:-

Utilise accountancy partnership’s databases to identify potential clients who could benefit from financial services products.

Engage with prospects in order to understand their financial needs, goals, and aspirations.

Review and update the client list, ensuring accurate and relevant information.

Reach out to potential clients via phone, email, or in-person meetings addressing their financial concerns, aspirations, and life circumstances.

Conduct thorough financial assessments for clients, considering factors such as income, expenses, investments, and risk tolerance.

Collaborate with other professionals (tax advisors, estate planners, etc.) within the accountancy partnership to provide holistic advice.

Create personalized financial plans based on clients’ goals, risk tolerance, and time horizon.

Recommend suitable investment strategies, insurance products, and retirement planning solutions.

Educate clients on financial literacy and empower them to make informed decisions.

Regularly review clients’ portfolios and adjust strategies as needed.

Proactively address any concerns or changes in clients’ circumstances.

Provide exceptional service to foster long-term relationships.

Attend events, workshops, and seminars.

Collaborate with accountants and other professionals to cross-refer clients.

Leverage your network to expand our reach.

Maintain accurate records and documentation.

If you hold a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or related field ideally with relevant certifications (e.g., DipPFS) as well as experience in a financial advisory role then our client would very much like to hear from you. Excellent communication skills and ability to build trust would be essential for this role as well as strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
