SET Recruitment is based in RCT and has quickly become one of the leading suppliers, seeing its market share significantly increase year on year, through forging close relationships with its local schools, carefully nurturing the highest quality of candidates, and truly understanding the specific local requirements of both. We have a keen sense of our social responsibility and are always looking to support our schools and Welsh culture in every way we can. Please give us a call if you would like to find out more about the many exciting projects we are currently engaged in.We are always keen at this time of year to attract Student Teachers completing their PGCE or the final year of Primary Education, to fill a wide variety of roles across the region. Our dedicated NQT Mentor will provide bespoke support to ensure you are fully guided through induction, which is now easier than ever before to complete while working through an agency, both on long term placements and in ad hoc positions. Our NQT Mentor will ensure you always have a Mentor provided either by the school or through the EWC, and that all your sessions are recorded and uploaded onto the EWC website to ensure you can complete induction as quickly as possible. Continuous development opportunities will always be flagged to you to ensure you meet all requirements of Induction. When you realise that on top of this, SET Education will pay for your DBS and you are under no obligation to accept any placement whatsoever, that you will have full control over your availability, how far you are willing travel, and even specific schools that you may not wish to attend, you realise that signing up with SET Education is a completely no risk option. If you do secure a permanent role yourself for September, then we will congratulate you and wish you the very best. But if you don’t find a position immediately, as many won’t of course, you can rest assured that our dedicated team are doing everything possible to find you the opportunities you want. Many vacancies have hundreds of applicants, but by using our fantastic relationships with local schools, we can get you the opportunity to actually go and teach at the schools you want to work in and really showcase what you have to offer. We have a fantastic track record of assisting NQTs into full time permanent roles after a period of supply. If you are doing Primary Education you may well finish your course shortly, and we can also offer opportunities to work as an LSA or a Cover Supervisor to earn some additional money prior to the end of the Academic Year, and to provide invaluable classroom experience.
