Night Duty Manager - Jackson Sims Recruitment Ltd : Job Details

We are seeking a dedicated and responsible Night Duty Manager to join our clients team at a prestigious residential development. As the Night Duty Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety, security, and smooth operation of the property during overnight hours. You will be the first point of contact for residents and staff during the night shift, managing any issues or emergencies that arise.

This role is ideal for someone with excellent problem-solving skills, a strong sense of responsibility, and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Security & Safety: Ensure the safety and security of the residential development by conducting regular site checks and overseeing building access.
• Emergency Response: Act as the first responder to any emergency situations, including fire alarms, security breaches, or maintenance issues.
• Resident Support: Provide assistance and support to residents during the night shift, handling any concerns or queries in a calm and efficient manner.
• Incident Reporting: Record and report any incidents, accidents, or maintenance issues for follow-up during day shifts.
• Supervising Staff: Oversee night security staff and ensure all night operations are running smoothly.
• Facility Maintenance: Ensure that common areas are well-maintained, addressing any issues such as lighting, cleanliness, or repairs as needed.
• Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication with the daytime management team to ensure continuity of service and operations.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a supervisory or managerial role, ideally within residential management, hospitality, or security.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills with a calm, professional approach to conflict resolution.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to make quick decisions in high-pressure situations.
• Ability to work independently and manage a variety of tasks during the night shift.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations and emergency procedures.
• A valid security license (if required by local regulations).
• Basic IT skills for reporting and communication purposes.
