IF YOU REQUIRE SPONSORSHIP OR HAVE LESS THAN 12 MONTHS REMAINING ON YOUR VISA PLEASE DO NOT APPLY AS WE ARE UNABLE TO PROGRESS YOUR APPLICATION****Job Title: Young Adult Support Worker  - Residential Specialist serviceLocation: Meldreth, HertfordshireSalary: £11.72 - £12.78 per hour (linked to competency and qualifications) PLUS £1500 Welcome bonus*Annual Salary:NIGHTS - £11.72- 12.78 per hour plus £25 allowance for each night worked -  £29,074(unqualified) - £31,270 (Level 3) depending on experienceHours: Full time – you will be working on a 4 week rota pattern, working 40 hours per week.   If you work Night shifts you will be working 14 shifts over 4 weeks (8:45pm to 8:15am) and are paid an additional £25 per night – Ave 40hrs per week (3 or 4 shifts per week)We are currently seeking both qualified and unqualified Young Adult Support Workers to join an innovative provider of education and care for children, young people and adults with special educational needs and disabilities based in Meldreth, Hertfordshire.The role:•    Providing exceptional high levels of care during all daily activities such as washing, dressing, socialising, learning, washing/personal care.•    Assisting with therapy sessions such as hydrotherapy and rebound therapy.•    Communicating effectively and building strong relationships that will empower the children and young adults are free to grow and develop•    Ensuring that the environment is safe, supportive and enjoyable•    Helping develop their learning and social skills wherever possibleExperience /Qualifications:•    If you do not already hold a qualification, willingness to work towards achieving Level 3 Diploma HSC (funded by our client).•    A robust, positive and creative approach in meeting the needs of children and young adults.•    Good interpersonal, communication and team working skills.•    High level of resilience and patience•    The ability to follow personal care routines •    The ability to work within a rota pattern that typically requires working every other weekend. Benefits:
