### Job IntroductionAn exciting opportunity has arisen to join Lincolnshire Recovery Partnership,a vibrant new partnership delivering substance use treatment and recoveryservices across Lincolnshire from April 2024. Lincolnshire RecoveryPartnership is delivered between Turning Point, Framework and Double Impact.The partnership combines Turning Point’s national experience as an outstandingsubstance use provider together with Double Impact’s specialism in livedexperience and recovery and Framework’s expertise supporting service userswith complex issues.Our ‘Recovery First’ model underpins everything at Lincolnshire RecoveryPartnership, with lived experience recovery fully integrated and visiblethroughout. Lincolnshire’s residents will benefit from Lincolnshire RecoveryPartnership’s highly integrated and highly localised approach, supporting withmultiple issues across all parts of Lincolnshire.As a community based Non-Medial Prescriber (NMP) or Pharmacist Prescriber atour Lincolnshire Recovery Service, you’ll make a real difference as youempower and enable people to change. Passionate about people, you’ll receivesupport to enhance your own life too, as you make the role your own in afriendly and multidisciplinary team.### Role ResponsibilityAs a Non-Medical Prescriber (NMP) or Pharmacist Prescriber, you will beinvolved with opiate substitute treatment (OST) interventions, benzodiazepinereductions, alcohol and opiate detoxifications and relapse preventionmedications. You will also provide support for health care assessments,administering detoxification medication for clients, administering pabrinex ,completing alcohol and opiate detoxification assessments, providing BloodBorne Virus (BBV) screening and vaccinations and will work closely with mentalhealth, physical health and social care services. You’ll also help to create acollaborative approach that links Turning Point ever closer to outsideprofessionals and agencies.You will attend a local prescribers meeting, one to one clinical supervisionand national prescriberclinician meetings which will also support yourlearning and continuous professional development. Full training andsupervision is provided from our Clinical Services Manager and Clinical Lead.You will have a real opportunity to help shape service delivery and contributeto delivering clinically excellent services.As an employee you will have access to RCNi to assist with revalidation,indemnity insurance and support from the Clinical Lead, Clinical ServicesManager, Turning Point’s Head of Nursing and Head of Medicines Optimisationand Pharmacy Services.### The Ideal CandidateRegistered with the Nursing & Midwifery Council or a qualified Pharmacist andalready a qualified independent prescriber, you will need to be confidentmanaging all aspects of prescribing for opiates and managing alcoholdetoxifications.You will join an established team in Lincolnshire, you will need to be anexcellent communicator and highly organised, you will have the ability todevelop support packages that are creative, flexible, and tailored to theneeds of everyone.
