Are you an NPD Technologist looking for something new? I have an exciting new role with a European Food Group, who are market leaders in their field.
Paying up to £50k depending on experience, this £700 million t/o and growing organisation is looking to recruit an experience NPD Technologist to join its friendly and established team.

Key Duties
- Develop new products and record all required information to generate an accurate costing and maintain critical paths.
- Follow the companies gated NPD process
- Work closely with other relevant cross-sectional departments.
- Must have excellent time management skills and be responsible for self-supervision.
- Maintaining a level of hygiene in NPD kitchen as required for a working kitchen.
- Collection of ingredients, making samples and panelling samples with the team.
- Develop new products and record all required information to generate an accurate costing and maintain critical paths.
- To run internal benchmarking sessions & manage a rolling calendar to ensure all lines are benchmarked at least once every 6 months.
- Data entry into the company ACCESS system, to maintain Bill of Materials
- Provide a report to the marketing and commercial team to feed recommendations into existing products
- Accountable for running & documenting organoleptic shelf-life panel for NPD/lines
Essential Skills and Experience
- Previous experience in a similar NPD development role.
- Degree or equivalent in science/ food science related qualification.
- An innovative thinking "foodie" with an eye for detail
- A creative individual with a real passion for food.
- Good numeracy skills, understanding of %s.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills and attention to detail.
- Effective interpretation and translation of information with good report writing skills.
