Nurse Manager (Pagination Products)

Location: The role will be hybrid working 1 or 2 days per week at one of our office locations Southport, Manchester, Liverpool or Leeds.

The successful candidate will assist the Head of Department in managing and leading the day to day running of the clinical nurse pagination teams to ensure timely provision of high-quality pagination products to all customers. The role will also require you to identify and deliver training through the department as and when necessary.

Main Responsibilities for the role:

  • Lead the Senior Nurses and their respective teams to ensure team performance against KPI’s, product delivery SLA’s.
  • Ensure that the teams/department meet their financial objectives.
  • ?Management of the team by use of relevant management information.
  • Review, analyse and report as and when necessary on performance, (weekly and ad hoc) ), on team performance to the HoD and D of MLS.
  • Revise and/or formulate policies and promote their implementation.
  • Ensure that nurse team remains compliant by conforming to established operational regulations.
  • Work with the QA Coordinator to ensure quality of the pagination products completed within team using medical knowledge and expertise to establish consistent quality of clinical opinions provided.
  • Highlight and deliver training and assist in development needed of the nurse analysts.
  • Support and work closely with HoD, Operations Manager and Director of MLS, evaluating the efficiency of pagination processes and improve in line with organisational objectives as and when needed.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Extensive/strong medical legal experience and knowledge of the healthcare sector.
  • Experience of medical records handling and analysis.
  • Be highly motivated, organised, and proactive and have precise and high-level attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to be able to disseminate information with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Experience of leading and managing teams effectively.
  • Successful project delivery.
  • Proven successful track record of understanding business requirements and the key performance MI required to support ongoing business improvement & business continuity.
  • Ability to work with and influence stakeholders.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office package, including advanced level knowledge of Excel.
