The Role:

• Position: Level 2/3 Nursery Assistant.
• Salary: £26,000 - £30,000 per year (dependent on experience).
• Hours: 40 hours per week.
• Annual Leave: 28 days.
• Start Date: ASAP.
• Location: Leytonstone, East London.

As a Nursery Assistant, you will work closely with a dedicated team to create a safe, stimulating, and engaging environment where young children can develop and thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality care and education for children aged 0-5.
• Plan and deliver fun, age-appropriate activities in line with the EYFS framework.
• Support children's social, emotional, and cognitive development through play-based learning.
• Assist with meal times, hygiene, and maintaining a safe and clean nursery environment.
• Build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
• Observe and monitor children's progress, updating learning journals as needed.

What We're Looking For:

• Minimum Level 2 Childcare Qualification (CACHE, NVQ, or equivalent) - Level 3 preferred.
• Experience working in a nursery, preschool, or early years setting.
• A caring, nurturing, and enthusiastic approach to working with young children.
• Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and child development principles.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
